4 games unbeaten. Can someone look up when it happened last time? In the last 3 matches we're 7th team with 5 points and Utd is first with 9.
hes a proper manager, the players will love him, the fans will love the football and overall its going to be an exciting time and if there is any justice you will stay up and not let what that pathetic excuse of an ex manager done take you down.
Just hoping that he drops SWP - the guy does absolutely knowing IMO. At least Hoilett as scored in the league this season; bit surprised he didn't even get off the bench. Great to see Faurlin pulling the strings again.
6 points from 4 games! No defeats! (Temporarily) Off the bottom! Hughes 4 points from 13 games... 9 defeats. Says it all dunnit? Some 'tough' games coming up. So what's new? Bit of team spirit and renewed confidence that's what. A few players now going at it with obvious commitment. COURRRRssss!!!!
I don't think swp did anything wrong today, had a decent game imo. Least he tries and works and passes, something hoilett rarely does.
I thought SWP was fine, as always. He had a couple stumbles but then so did everybody else in the squad - I mean look at the scrappy Mbia today, how surprising was that? Not really. But all is forgiven! We got our 3 points!
Our form is surprisingly good, better than that lot down the road in fact! http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/matchday/form-guide.html?tableView=homeAwayTotalComparison
Rubbish, you weren't there today were you? SWP was decent. We've won, this needless scapegoating is so boring
Interesting what he said about giving Adel that central midfield position. It really suited him. Cred to Col who has been saying that all the time I think. Hope Harry keeps playing him there. Granero is the natural replacement if Adel goes to Africa.
Harry Redknapp is different class to Sparkless Hughes. Great interview gives it to you straight. You dont hear excuses and the players being referred to as The Group in every sentence. I believe he gives us a fighting chance still of staying up with so many games left.
As per the OP, the influence of Harry is beyond belief. Today was not the 'new manager bounce'. There was a new shape with much improved energy and determination and, of course, goals and a win. I think it signals a new era and the Jan window looks exciting again with a manager who will not unbalance or unsettle the team with many new signings. However, one win is one step only. That's all we can do. One step at a time.
SWP did OK. He would have been even better if bloody Green didn't keep lobbing up his crappy distribution to the shortest man on the pitch. Adel Taarabt and Ryan Nelson = top drawer.
Harry will get you out of the drop zone, that I have no doubt, and even though he's been given a difficult task, he'll come up trumps! your not going down, I'll put money on it..........
It seems he knows how to pull Adel's strings, if Adel starts playing with confidence and believing in himself it shows just what a good man-manager Harry is and suddenly it doesn't look as hopeless as we thought...
Adel seems as another player doesn't he? They all grew on confidence with Harry and within 2-3 weeks we'll have a recognizable game style
Having Adel playing off the striker gets him into positions where he can hurt the opposition, he's wasted out wide where he can often reduce the momentum of the attacks, in the danger areas he can have a go, much more menacing...
