This is by no means an ITK. I just have a gut feeling that if we have no chance with olsson (which seems likely), hangeland (not sure on spelling) will be wearing the hoops by the end of January. A deal might even be virtually done already. But as I say, it is a gut feeling, no more!
I think Harry will bring in a decent holding Midfielder and push M'bia back to center half to partner Hill, I can't see either of them deals coming off TBH
His contract is running down, doesn't look like he's keen to sign another. And also fyed always takes the money....
I don't think he will either. I haven't heard of anyone at the Club confirming Nelsen is going end of this month either, despite Toronto's announcement. Haim can be seen as a replacement for Ferdinand, but I cannot believe Harry will reduce our already stretched defensive capabilty by letting Nelsen go without a Quality replacement for this Quality player.
I really do think we could get him. The chance for this headline was an added bonus. It made me chuckle anyway... ;-)
Pretty much this imo. Would have been an awesome signing three-four years ago. But if the alternative is no one else coming in to aid our defence then yes, at a reasonable price.
Eh? Some people have short memories! Ruddock, gabbidon, ****tu(2nd time)!! All CB's we bought, nurtured then sold on for a big wedge.... ;-)
Expect a deadline day dash for Olsen and Hangeland - watch this space. Harry's got loads of irons in the fire.
