    so you guys do know that not606 is a largely dead site. outliving the Utd board is no great achievement if you look around and see how many dead boards there are.

    imo despite the sites owners best efforts (or perhaps the adverts pay enough for him to be perfectly happy I don't know)

    this site suffers in the context of being a sports site by:

    a) retaining the 606 branding. there's absolutely no need to retain it at all imo. it's not like googling 606 having listened to the radio bring us new fans. ally this with it stream for new people.from the site being pushed.

    b) general chat. this site seems to be general chat with sports tagged on not the other way round. the extreme views and basic chaos there sucks their time. so they don't advertise.


    in short the football side.of this board has died off. there's more activity on ja606 at this point almost. people.have retreated to premier league board just about cos there's very very few board left active.

    i'm not too bothered, used to use that forum but havent for a while, quite content and happy on this board. few good users on this board <whistle> not many though :bandit:

    The Man Utd board has gone, Chief and Sweats post on the PL board as does Matth the rest didn't come back after last season ended.

    It's busy at the moment but I expect it'll peak and drop off. Eventually those of us who want to continue will have to do a group move to another site I don't think this place will go on for that much longer the numbers must have dropped big time over the years.

    yeah.... it's down to if it's worth actually their time in keeping it up. does it pay the.

    the time for expansion and trying to be relevant is long gone.

    The PL board rise could have had a impact on individual boards too.
