Problem is, this isnt the first dodgy sacking he's had is it.....Becoming the norm really..Wet spam, pompey, southampton and now Spurs have all got rid of or let him go... Must be something wrong somewhere?
I'm really surprised. He has one last contract. I think he may take the money and go to the middle east for a couple of years.
He won't be out of work for long, Levy, for whatever reason, has just shot himself in the foot. The players' reaction last night suggests Spurs are about to implode...
They were bottom of the league when he took over and Turned Bale and Modric from average prem players into World class players. If Levy thinks 4th is a bad season for spurs then the man is a fool. It must surely be that Harry outpriced himself in trying to get a new contract , much the same as he prob did with the Englan job. We are in a global recession and maybe people are finnally saying hold on , we are not paying you that much. ( just a thought ).
Apparently Joe Lewis who has put £100 million into Spurs thought they should have finished 2nd and 'Arry was disloyal over the England job by not ruling himself out. Like so many megalomaniac billionaires they always believe they are right...
I thought Harry acted appropriately when being constantly bombarded with questions about the England job, he was always clear that his loyalty was with Spuds so I don't know what Levy or Lewis can complain about on that score. From bottom of the league to Champions League and only missing out for next season because the Scum won on penalties isn't such a bad return for a manager. If I was a Spuds fan I would be pinching myself to see if it was real and not calling TalkSpurt moaning about Harry's tactics and "throwing 3rd place away". Some have said he went in too strong when asking for a contract extension but I can sort of see his point. By turning down the England job at every turn I reckon he expected a return of loyalty from the owners in the shape of a lucrative and longer deal. I can't think of another Premiership club vacancy that he'd be interested in at the moment so I wouldn't be surprised if he went abroad although he has admitted himself that he is as dumb as a stump so I can't see him doing an El Tel and grasping the local lingo. On a different note, I'd smash his daughter-in-law's back doors right off their hinges.
Sooperhoop... Not Mr Fido Redknapp....Miss Rosie Redknapp....got to get the name right for the taxman. Right Arry....
