Hard Working Side

I don't think I have ever seen a Sunderland side that works so hard. Fantastic effort.

 

I've seen it before but only very rarely. A 1-4 defeat to Villa at Roker springs to mind.
Watching the lads tonight was an absolute pleasure. For me the result is just a bonus. The effort those lads put in...Fanfuckingtastic.

 

I think I've been a Sunderland fan for too long because all through the second half I kept waiting for the kick in the nuts.

I couldn't believe how hard working we were today. It actually did remind me of the '73 side. There, I've said it.

This was in amongst a piece, on who could install some back bone, or fighting spirit into Arsenal..

Seems some in the press are finally starting to rate him.

Maybe not just the press, Comm - he's taken some right flak from a lot of us, too!

 

Certainly has mate......amazing what a few good games does to peoples opinions...

 

we do have some good players to go along side the hard working team

 

I don't know about to go alongside, vince. It seems to me that we have some good players who are working really hard. Sess is a very good example from yesterday - worked his ****ing socks off.
