    Times are hard for most folk, the price of a day out have become more expensive. It becomes a problem for folks with a tight budget. cheaper tickets, may, or may not fill the stadium. The question is, fill the stadium on cheaper tickets, or charge more with less attendance. All very well investing more money in players, but, although I would like this, who then is the market aimed at, and does the Sunderland supporter, without means be excluded..................A no brainer realy.

    A supporter through the door may buy a beer, a programme etc

    no supporter through the door { because he cant afford the ticket price } NO SALE.

    Hence Quinnies rant at pub watchers.

    £52 to watch EIGHT HOURS of bands, Reverands and the makers, Futureheads, The wombats, The red hot Chillie Peppers.

    £20 plus, for ninety something MINUTES of football { and sometimes it is football }

    DO the math, as I said ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,A no brainer.

    Our ticket prices are relatively low for the league we're in. It's just symptomatic of the way football is nowadays. Damn shame that we're not more like the Germans. They seem to have it down in terms of fairness.

    Also on a unrelated note... I flaming hate the Wombats. I'd pay not to see them.

    Here's a thought lads why not put all ticket prices at the same for all teams in the PL say £20 seems a much fairer way of doing things. Teams can make more money from cup games and Euro games, thought the FFP rules would have something like this in place as at present we are paying £20+ to watch a home game whereas Spurs/Arsenal etc charge £30+ a seat. Or is that one of the many loopholes that we will see teams haggling over?
