Albrighton, Ulloa and Cambiasso are all likely regular first teamers. That's 27% of the first team changed, with the possibility of others still to come in. I wouldn't want too much more "improvement" of the first team for the reason you've stated above, just cover for certain positions.

I guess it would and it would make the south the arsehole. I'd much rather be a dick than an arsehole 👍

I would say yes I am very happy because Albrighton, Ulloa, Cambiasso and Simpson are all quality players and Upson and Hamer will be useful squad players. Hopefully N'Doye can be signed too and then I'll think Pearson will have done an excellent job and all for less than £15m.

Delighted.

Kasper
Simpson Morgan Moore Konch
Cambiasso
James Drinkwater
Mahrez
Ulloa Vardy

Only stand out weak link in that is Konch but he's been superb in the opening 3 games. Would love to see Mahrez given the freedom to roam even more.

Vardy to drop into left wing when we don't have the ball. Very similar to how Liverpool play.

We have options all over the pitch now. Only worry would be an injury to either Morgan, Moore and Wasyl

I think you've done pretty good business; I'd love your striking options at our club.

Agreed. Well covered in midfield now and Ulloa has had a more impressive start than i for one thought so with Vardy fit and Nuge/Wood cover we're ok. Left back was a worry but I think Nige is being clever playing Konch atm. Konch has played really well but I think we all know Schlupp is the future at left back but by Nige playing him further forward with Konch behind he is gaining premier league experience without being the last man so if Konch gets injured or starts to struggled Jeff can slot in

Yes, this is a good point ref Schlupp. His burst of speed for our goal v Aresnal was unreal, he left a world champion chocking on dust.
He can/will move up & down the lhs of the pitch so when he does go forward he´ll be a danger & as you say JTF he ain´t got to worry to much about leaving a big gap at the back.
I´m so glad we ain´t sold Schlupp. If he keeps doing well, Getting games & we stay in the prem I think we´ll have a top top player on our hand in 2-3 years. Then if a team wants to buy him fair enough, but he won´t be cheap.

From this point of view I feel if we stay up this year we can grow and not go down the second season syndrome route. Schmeichel, De Laet/Simpson, Moore, Schlupp, James, Drinkwater, King, Vardy, Ulloa, Knocky, Mahrez, Albrighton all have potential to just get better, oh and even Wood. In the long run, thinking a few years ahead I only really see Morgan as the one we'd need to replace (but he's been excellent so far so I may regret that).

Im not convinced about Powell, he did well last year in the champ but didn't exactly stand out, lets hope hes ready for the prem and he does better for us than Lingaard did.

SSN yesterday were saying that Lawrence was getting into the Man U first team under Giggs at the end of last season, so i wonder if hes annoyed that hes gone, my guess would be he has little to no say in who goes and who stays, lets hope he turns into Steve Walsh's star buy for us <ok>

No one but the manager has any thing to say at Manc Poo believe me. Giggs is there for 3 reasons. 1. As a figure head, 2. to learn how to be a manager in the future & 3. to speak only when spoken to.
