As of tomorrow I will be in full on party mood and will be absent from here for a few days, so I'm just getting this in early.

For all of you interested, here's some good wee videos of great band music.

For those that don't know the UVF Regimental band is in reference to the 36th divison and not the modern day UVF paramilitaries.

Here Medro, you might be needing one of these in the morning to take you back to the 18th century when normal people started to cringe at stuff like that.

Apparently this year Neil Lennon was by far the most common effigy placed on the 11th bonfires to be burnt. No doubt Lennon was chosen not because they are bigotted but because him angrily kicking a water bottle at Inverness was offensive to the orange order

For those that don't know the UVF Regimental band is in reference to the Ulster Volunteers, established and promoted as a terrorist organisation to prevent the democratic will of the People of the U.K.

how very loyal of you Med-dog<doh>

I must say how shocked I am to see a post from someone who professes not to be a bigot to be openly conceding that he is one..hmm. did you think you were the only one who looked at the opposing teams board? Or do you have some great defence as to why a crowd of bigots and terrorist cheerleaders are somehow not what they seem?

I expect little more from the spawn of filthy bigots than more of the same

Enjoy your celebration. We have a similar thing here in Cambridgeshire: folk music and morris dancing culminating in the burning of the man dressed as a "straw bear"*. It's important that we hang on to our local traditions.

    * We do let him out before we set light to it.

Who was the clown on here a few weeks ago telling us that Scotland had a bigger sectarian problem than Belfast?
