Is it just me or are teams getting away with loads of blatant handballs lately? Against Derby the ref gave a free kick against Stewart for handball in the first half when it was kicked at him from about a yard away, but twice in the second half shots were blocked from a good distance away by defenders' hands in the penalty area and nothing was given. I've kind of given up expecting refs to give penalties in this league unless completely necessary, but at Burnley there were 5 or 6 instances of clear handballs in the middle of the pitch which could easily have been given, all of which went unnoticed by the officials, and there were a few yesterday from Ipswich players, it seems that over these 3 games there has been a massive increase in players controlling it with their hands in midfield and every time the crowd make it clear to the ref but it hasn't been stopped once. Has anyone else noticed this?
