@themichaelowen: couldn't cope with the demands of so much so young. Despite that, still think I've got enough in me to perform for another couple of years! @DietmarHamann: @themichaelowen You'll be alright kidder you rested plenty in last few years That's just damn funny.
I actually wanted them to win the Euros. Been there a few times myself and they are a great bunch of people. Some people just let the war cloud their judgement.
no way is that really deitmar but the guy is indeed class and was an amazing signing in terms of attitude and brainpower on the pitch... no pace but a top player. no co-incidence our best years in the 21st century had top midfielders like hamann and Alonso driving them... hope we sign another like them soon... (javi martines please, should have been done 2 years ago)
Hamann once appeared on fighting talk and he was brilliant. His humour is different but still funny as ****.
Apparently it is, his Twitter is verified and the way that Owen responds to him makes it look like it is indeed Didi.
A prime example of the fact that pace is an asset but not a necessity. Didi was happy to get caught in possession, he would just shield the ball and invite the foul. The opponent would either leave him to lay the ball off or go in and concede the free kick.
Hamann is one of my favourite LFC players of all time. He was one of the team's best players when I was growing up.
