in a must win game, you would think we would be really up for this one.No passion, no pace no shots, Sess not up for it, Larrson same old, Johnson doing nothing, Fletcher not touched the ball. defence humping it forward to no one.
Now they are down to 10 men for an hour. This really is the last chance to do something. I expect a 3-1 win. getan extra forward on and show some balls.

All the Mackem fans have to do is shout "Handball" often enough and they will get dodgy calls in return - so bloody annoying

5 - Sunderland have seen five opponents sent off this season, two more than any other Premier League team. Maelstrom.

Three have them have been a bit debatable.

How many penalties is that for Sunderland as well, 5-6?

Didn't look as though the keeper handled it to me, Bassong did though.

You seemed a bit clueless at 11 v 11. Now they have a man sent off (not sure about that) and you equalised (it was a penalty) you look like a proper team. You should win this now.

Not complaining but harsh for me. 1 down, eight players watching. Not deliberate handball for sending off and not deliberate handball for pen...

Weve had the same decsions go against us this season, against Gardner but the ball was blasted at Gardner & he couldnt move his arm out the way. Your player instictively put his arm out as he did not control it with his chest properly. If his arm wasnt up it would of rolled behind him then it could of been a goal scoring opportunity. The sending off, well hes ran out the box and blatantly handballed it.

No valid argument for either really.

Just seen some slow-mo replays - both right decisions by applying the strict letter of the law but both still quite harsh.

Will be happy to leave with a point now instead of the 3 that were looking on the cards on 29 minutes.

Having seen those replays, I still don't think the ball hit any of the keeper's arm.
