Says he knows 100% for sure that two of the players who have flatly refused to accept any wage cut at all are Lafferty and Naismith. Reckons this will be in the press within a week or so.
In some ways I don't blame them. It's not their fault the club is in the state it is. However, if this is true, then they will no doubt become pariahs among the Rangers fans. The whole situation is starting to annoy me. The administrators are in charge of the club and should be making the decisions, not trying to pass the buck to the players. The decision to cut players and other staff should have been taken by them and it should have been done before the players headed off on international duty. They're earning thousands of pounds per day and it seems they are just faffing about.
It's a bit of a joke and has been since day one. D&P's first press statement was so incredibly positive you would have thought everything could be sorted out in a few days. These guys don't seem to have a ****ing clue and as you say it's THEIR job to make cuts, it's not their job to offload the decisions onto Ally McCoist or anyone else.
You may be right but if the administrators did not have widespead debate and opinion taking you can be sure that the cry in the Scottish H.n media would be that Celtic minded administrators destroy the Rangers squad. Administrators in these types of cases cannot win but they have to be seen to try to achieve consensus. After all fails then and only then can they yield the hatchet.
Their ****ing administrators of course they can't win they are paid to be ****s. What they are doning at Rangers seems wrong. They should have stopped the money flowing out of Rangers right away but cuts haven't happened is this deliberate to make liquidation happen?
Will Rangers win another game before they disappear ??? To much Jelly and ice cream in Aberdeen , all paid for By Hearts 6/1
I dont understand the administrators decision here. If they genuinely wanted to keep rangers going shouldn't they keep the valuable players and, get rid of the non-valuable players. Why are they giving them options? I dont see how keeping the current squad will turn rangers into a viable business.
I had heard from another source that Laffarty had refused a cut - on basis he has new baby and signed up finance on new house / other things. If this was any other business in the UK the administrators would already have sent them packing / unfortunately the workforce is also the clubs most valuable assets in this case so not soo straight forward. Do they get rid of Davis / McGregors wages now or keep them and sell them in the summer?
to be fair to the big ugly ****, that stunner that he hangs out the back of is no gonnae hang around if he takes a pay cut.
