Peterbrough and Huddersfield both won tonight, 5 points off hudders, three games in hand, 4 points of pboro, 2 games in hand. Looks promising, however we HAVE to win games in had otherwise we simply wont be promoted automatically, charlton twice and another away game (can't remember which) our the games in hand, they are the most vital of our season, especially with the april fixture pile up, getting very nervy now!
Wouldn't exactly call it 'gutting' , was expected for them to win anyway. As long as we're 2nd going into the last day - we'll be fine as all teams are at home and we won't get top 2 if we aren't in it before our game on May 8th. That's the aim.
I had hoped that winning at Plymouth would have got us there but with that game postponed guess we just have to wait a while longer. Concerned by the way the other two teams keep winning at the moment though they both have games which are more difficult on paper than tonights.
I have a feeling already that the last game will be the decider. However, as Saint-Lambden says, if we go into the last game in second place then that would be fantastic. Imagine the atmosphere in the ground if we won that game! I am getting ahead of myself. Every game is a cup final, but Adkins is without doubt a man of delivery. I even want to hear a song or two from the Chapel on saturday, as in days gone past, the team needs us as the fans to rise to the challenge with them! As for tonight's results, they were expected, the Huddersfield result in particular
We need to win on Saturday and keep winning. That's the only thing in our hands. P'boro meet MK Dons on Monday..interesting game! We will have weeks like this, but hopefully P'boro will drop a few points to give us a bit of breathing room.
Heads up boys. We are still in the driving seat. Pretty soon we will be winning when no one else is playing, then it's happy days.
Nice spin in a set of result that didnt go our way! Oh well Wednesday as you didn't help us out - You going get a absolute tonking this weekend!
We can say that our destiny is our hands, as can Brighton. If win our first game in hand the table will look a lot prettier. We shouldn't be worrying about the others. If they slip up, great. But we shouldn't get too down if don't oblige.
Add 3 points onto all the top 6 teams that takes them up to 37 games played. Done that... Then you'll realise that we would be in 2nd place. Remember it's how the table looks on the last day rather than what it looks like now
