Went last night, poor quality game Torquay misfiring all over the park eventually winning 1-0 with a super strike from captain Lee Mansell. The daggers looked like a relegation team, low in morale and confidence although they tried hard they were lacking quality in most areas of play. The good thing for us is apart from still being out of the relegation zone is that our last couple of performances have been a lot better than what the Daggers offered last night.Think the Gulls will perform a lot better on Saturday against the mighty Cobblers.Though i feel the Vale game will be quite a test for us as they are talking up their chances of the play offs.

Well at least they did the business aka.

Hopefully with Patterson signing for Derry on friday we will be able to get another striker in for the Southend match. Port Vale beat us 2-0 last time we played but I think a draw looks likely.

I will have Torquay's babies if they win again on Saturday. Only the first eleven mind, no subs or spectators. After all I'm not a tart. Well not much of one anyway.

    GreenJock,
Why are men so easily taken in by women? I was looking at a copy of Hello magazine (sorry it was in the canteen) today and there was Brian Ferry with his new wife - no less than 37 years age difference. He isn't bad looking (for his age) I guess but I would not look at him twice, he is greying and a bit wrinkly but... oh come on!!! A woman in her 20s marries a man 60+ for:
    MONEY
    lifestle
    big house/car
    presteige
not having to work again etc etc
This happens so often in the celeb world it's common practice these days. Surely the man knows he cannot possibly be attractive to someone decades younger than himself, surely he knows it is just the above she is after. If ever there was proof that men's brains are located in their b****cks this is it.

But men of money and a certain age carry their cash in a sporon like container and keep it just about where a sporon normally hangs. If she wants it she knows where it is.........My wife is always telling my daughter that it is better to be an old man's darling rather than a young man's slave. She gets the lifestyle and he gets his trophy. Nobody gets hurt and both parties happy.

I find it a bit laughable too, but from both points of view. The young women are gold diggers, the men are deluded fools. These people probably deserve each other. Catherine Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas spring to mind. If he honestly believes she fancies him more than her younger fitter co-stars, he's an idiot, but why should he care? Must be nice to have a trophy on your arm I guess. Mind you I am 6 years older than my partner, and she is really good looking, whereas I'm 41, greying and spreading round the middle and skint. Takes allsorts I guess lol.

Once I like to think I dated Renee Zelweiger for about 15 mins or so...met her at a tourist hotel bar in Malta where she was staying...could'nt believe it as she is a favorite of mine anyway!...as she was walking by I said hi etc etc whilst my heart was pounding and offered her to have a drink which she gratefully accepted....what a great woman she is, acted very normal as if she known you for years and talking in that soft sexy voice of hers...believe me I was in heaven!...By the way Mrs. Lala or Gat, do you know what perfume that has a distinct aroma of primroses as that what she was wearing and will never forget it!... I'm probably at least 10 years older than her and she was'nt after my money. LOL:emoticon-0152-heart

I was in a bar in Gib once with my troups and we met a celeb who was very nice. Bleddy Ralph Harris. Actually he was a really nice bloke and came to the camp and did a free shop for the lads which we asked him to do and he agreed there and then. Top man but I never dated him.............
