I clicked on the answer for the first one but nothing's happened. It isn't moving on. Still, 1/1 isn't bad, assuming I got it right!
10/10. Nearly pressed Villa Park instead of Ibrox seeing the lion and the brickwork. Helped by the fact I have been to most of them more than once. Not just to see City, some when I was working away at times.
Get in!! You scored 10 out of 10! Groundspotter! With those eyes you wouldn't even have needed the orange ball on a snowy afternoon in the 1950s Read the thread first.
Except that photograph wasn't taken 60 odd years ago. It is a lot more recent. First time I went to Loftus Road in 1971 the ends behind the goals were open. Since then the stands behind the goals were put in and both stands down the side were redeveloped. None of the ground is the same as the late 1960s. Used to be a good day out down there back then with some good pubs.
No idea. First Cup final I remember proper was the '74 Liverpool/ Newcastle one & remember most since (although, bar this year, have not taken much interest in the last 10 years or so) I can't remember an orange ball being used so I'll plump for pre 1974.
The year before your first final, Leeds v Sunderland 1973. Don't know why it was used as it wasn't unusual weather for a cup final.
