After the commentator in the Man Utd game mentioned Arsenal giving Man U a guard of honour. Will Cardiff do the same for our lads if we go up or will our lads do it for them as Champions?
Why on earth would Cardiff give us one? Even if we've secured second - they're the ones with the honours. I reckon they'll get one off Bolton at Cardiff on Saturday (esp since the Trophy will be presented then, won't it?). Not sure if the custom is one guard of honour following the title win, or one off every remaining team.
cardiff won't give us one, they're the champions and i think you just have one guard of honour although not 100% sure
Just thought with it being the last game and at our place and we was up they might of done. Pardon me for ****ing breathing
I'm sure only the game following the title win gets the Guard of Honour. Why we would get one off Cardiff makes no sense. We haven't won anything in particular.
How gay is this whole idea? They have no reason to give any bastard a guard of honour and I can see no reason why we'd give them one even if we're promoted. Get to ****.
Look if we are both promoted by our game neither of us will worry one way or another. Basically for most of the season you have been right behind us, we are simply breathing a sigh of relief. jck
i cannot see anything gay about the whole idea. but would be nice if the tigers gave them the clap....sorry a clap!!
Just posted on our board. If you lose to Barnsley and Watford win on Saturday, you peeps will be an all of feck all situation. Malky has still got a real big soft spot for Watford (went over and applauded their fans at the end of the match at our place) therefore, if it means either You or Watford for the last auto on the final Saturday, you can be sure of one thing Malky will put out a very strong side and will try to beat you for the sake of Watford, so what will should be a day of celebration for both clubs could turn out to be a real damp squib for you guys, as I wouldn't fancy your chances in the Playoff's as Brighton are on fire at the moment. Good luck against Barnsley and remember a draw may not be enough.
Cardiff deserve some recognition for their consistency this season. If we stumbled over the line before Watford that'll do. No need for anything else! All that's needed is a lap of honour after the game and the chance for the fans (those who don't piss off early anyways) to give their appreciation for a remarkable season regardless of the outcome of the final two games.
