Watching LA Galaxy x Puerto Rico Islanders in the CONCACAF Champions league ( which has a nutty style of getting into the tournament as well) and there is barely anyone in the stands. I don't quite get why these games are not heavily heavily pushed? This competition is also seen a lot of times as second rate and we never do well enough to win this tournament and represent concacaf in the CWC. Guess who normally does? Mexico of course. Just think it is a shame that this competition should be taken way way more serious than it is and a chance to have an MLS team represent our whole organization in the Club World Cup, but the clubs, the tv programes, the fans, seem to second guess it? Anyway it grinds my gears....
Cus they push the EPL and Champions League just as hard there as they do here. No matter how good the MLS gets it will always be seen as a bit of a joke league.
I am not even talking about the other EPL, CL, etc. I am talking about MLS league games vs. CONCACAF CL league games. It doesn't matter if it is LA, Real, even Seattle who are normally brilliant, if it is a CONCACAF game, less than half come out to watch when it should be an awesome event and a chance to see other teams, new styles, not the same exact formula as you see in the MLS ( bar a few times such as LA, NY, RSL, for example). The lack of focus from the TV programmes on the MLS is a whole different can of worms and a joke to be honest. That is another gear grinder but another day. ****ing 1 game a month from ESPN and 1 every second Saturday. Top stuff that.
It would be so easy to fil those seats if you gave it all up free, to schools ect childrens hospitals and so on, no problem filling the stadiums but like FIFA = NO FREEBIES
There's a fu.king thread for this sh1te.......................................... ......................................and this is it
