Whilst the current table looks incredible bleak for us - upload_2015-11-1_20-14-36.png
it's looking bad for the teams below us, but Bournemouth have some fixtures coming up this month where they would hope to pick up some points.
If there is one 'crumb of comfort' that can be gleaned from this, it is that our 'goals for' is better than the other teams, apart from Chelsea!!!!

Well thatSunderland don't look any better than defensively than we do is another comfort and they are a Sam Allardyce team. If we can pick up some points over the next few games then great but even if we don't I wouldn't be surprised if we still stayed out of the dreaded bottom three. All we can do as fans is hope that we play well and get some results but it is imperative the club sticks by AN and does the business in January.

It's amazing we're not in the bottom 3, luckily the teams below us aren't doing much better. Obviously need to start picking up points soon, 5 defeats in a row is a worrying trend.

Exactly RM2. The trouble is, if our league position doesn't improve soon, it will be difficult to persuade possible targets to join us in January.

It's not all about results at this stage. Our performances have been positive. Yes, we lost by the odd goal to West Brom, but we held Everton to a draw over 120 minutes and were arguably the better team. By comparison, Sunderland lost 6-2 at Everton today. The performance against ManCity was hugely impressive, IMO, and that bodes well for the future. Some fans may be losing heart, but our players certainly don't seem to be doing so. We're still in 16th, and only two points behind Chelsea! It's a battle, certainly, but that's the premier league.

We really need to try to stop leaking goals it will stop us having to score 2/3 to win

Not sure that really helps RER. After all we lost 6 - 2 to Newcastle, but Sunderland beat them 3 - 0.

Did we really expect to be doing much better? We believe in AN and think he is giving us the best chance but from August it would have been hard to see us outside of the bottom 6 and that is where we are and likely to stay. Surely Chelski will improve, although probably without Mourinho, but the rest look like they are set for the rest of the season. The games home and away to Villa ae going to be huge. Thinking about it, didn't they go down with us around 1980? Possible repeat maybe?

Both were freakish games, canario. Newcastle had 6 shots OT and they all went in. Sunderland were gifted an early dubious penalty and sending off which meant all their goals were scored against 10 men. I'm talking more about performances than results. Sunderland and Villa both look very dodgy to me without much indication of a new manager bounce in either case.
