Since the last server up-date approx 7 days ago, I have noticed that despite having replied to approx 20 posts, I find that my points tally has not increased. Now is this a malfunction or has the points system been abandoned. I sent Syd a message to this effect, unfortuately he was unable to rectify the problem. He did however pass the info onto the relevant people. Apparently I am not the only subscriber to be affected by this. In essence could the person(s) who have control please address the problem and keep us up to date. Thanks in advance for your help.
I think I speak for more than just myself, in that I couldn't care tuppence for the points system. I miss tags and the rep comments though
And it was passed on but I think you must understand Mr Reid, Mick. He works in Gurnsey and lives in Belfast, to make matters worse he is looking to move to the IoM nd is house hunting. Add in a couple of young children and a wife, dealing with server problems and being so laid back he is asleep and you will see how points are not high priority to him, or me for that matter. Well, you did ask.
What is the point system for anyway? And why do we need to see how many posts someone has made? All opinions are equally valid whether the poster has a Million posts or just the one. Scrap it. It's quite literally...Pointless.
As i started the post, can i say to those who are in the know, if it serves no purpose then scrap it.
