Where does Gregory fit in with the imminent signing of Wright I thought Gregory was wrights replacement so to speak

 

Well I think Gregory was signed in the intentions of replacing Wright but as the deal became available again then it looks more likely that he will be replacing Montrose with Wright replacing Payne.

 

or replacing the french guy we had on loan

 

Well Wright has gone to Colchester sadly so I think he should play next to Payne.

 

Don't think Payne is going to be there for the rest of the season

 

I think he has gone with that comment that either muggleton or Romeo will be on the bench when we have no injuries.

 

Several times this season some of the young players have been involved on match days just for a bit of experience! I very much doubt either player will be in the 18

 

He said one will be in the 18.
I think Gregory should be given a change even after his bad performance I would start him tomorrow.

Ok, just says on Kent Online they have been added to the squad! I would start with Gregory in Midfield with Lee, Weston and Whelpdale!

 

Allen has said in post matches before that if we're up and crusing he will bring on a youngster, so that's obviously the idea here. If we're comfortable give the lad a chance

How bad was he yesterday? Listening to gillsplayer his every mention was followed by "poor delivery"

 

He wasn't good but I feel he will get better however I am not sure if he is the player we should be signing if we are building for next season as he seems very average when MA says he will only sign players who will improve the side I don't see how he improves it.

 

i think im in the minority but i didn't think he was that bad, particularly relative to the rest of the midfield. He seemed to be trying to keep the ball down, and once Fish came on (i think our goal went gregory-fish-weston) he seemed to be shifting the play to him rather than the straight punts into the box that the centre backs and other midfielders were resorting to.
Despite that I dont see enough to think he fits into the brief of signing players to improve the starting 11

 

He is a good player, people are losing the plot claiming MA has lost it etc etc

 

Gregory was average. I will give him a couple more chances before i can say he is a good signing. Didn t think much of wright at the beginning but proved to be excellent.

 

Wright is out of the equation, so now a redundant argument. Let's move on and have a go about someone else eh??
