Took all you good people's advice and gave it a miss. The salads in M & S are more my cup of tea. Noticed though that there is always a big queue at Greggs though. What's the big attraction?
Here ER went into my local shop other day and they were selling Barn Bracks without the ring other shops sell them with ring stuck on the outside fs health and safety gone mad yet again. What's your opinion on the subject?
When Greggs started out in the North East of England, they were proper tasty, (don't forget we are an area of proper fat greedy bastards), the menu of food available was only small, pasties and sausage rolls. Now they have gone really commercial, maybe the standards have dropped... Chicken madras lattice, i did ask you to try one, and tell me what it's like...
I didn't, but i do now.. The reason being? Anyhow as good as greggs are, they are not as good as a good old ginsters pasty.
I think I might go for the M & S hot smoked salmon and potato (no offence to the Irish) salad with a lemon viniagrette. It was sumptious.
Greasy lukewarm pish. Their sandwiches are so-so. Their staff are generally dour. Having said that, it's my favourite
