    Hi guys,

I'm in a buddist monastery high up in the Himalayas for a month doing some meditation. It's a no-frills existance but at least I can get away from my mates back home and them pulling my leg all the time. Mind you, they are still trying. I had a text from Tarquin a couple of days ago saying that Brendan has gone to Liverpool and Paul Lambert is now at Villa.

Haha! I'm not falling for THAT!

The monastery is famuss for its golden reclining Buddha on the roof. I went up to take a photo of it last week but I tripped up and knocked it over the edge. It fell two thousand feet into the valley below and smashed to bits. Do you think I should try and glue it back together or just hope no-one notices it’s missing?

On Tuesday nights we’re allowed to go down to the village. There’s not much there apart from a tavern called the ‘Yak and Yeti’. You won’t believe this but behind the bar there are two pictures - one is of the Dalai Lama and the other is Huw Jenkins!!! They watch all the Swans games live in the Yak and Yeti (and they have internet). It’s a bit rough in here - after a few jugs of the local brew there are plenty of fights and smashing up the tables and chairs. A world away from the Stag & Dalek in Abergarngochdulais!!!

The locals play a board game - Taishitzu - a bit like draughts. I beat their champion last week so he pulled a knife on me and accused me of cheating. But I gave him my Swans shirt and now we’re pals again.

Anyways, I have to get back up to the monastery before it gets dark because that’s when the yetis start coming out. Last week one of the monks got mauled by a yeti and then it threw him off the rope bridge over the ravine. Yikes!

Hope Brendan is making some astute summer signings and see you all soon.

Gullible how are things, that yak and yeti sounds a hip place, Mr Lama and our Huw are friends on facebook, apparently our huw seeks spiritual guidance every time we are looking for a new manager(i bet Mr Lama must be getting a bit pissed off with it by now). Anyway enjoy your time out there, and keep us updated on the goings on at your retreat in the himalayas<laugh>

gullible have an extended stay mate, we can't match your tranquillity down here at Swansea at the moment, but please continue to look in on us with your karma, and remember this, you've got more chance of seeing Elvis up there, than us seeing Rodgers down here!...............<laugh>.............<cheers>

I could think of a few people on here who need to spend some time at a meditation treat. May help calm them down a little. If you can't get to a retreat try 20 mins twice a day at home. It works wonders.

Very topical post as just heard Paddy Power have the Dalai Lama and some geezer called Dennis Bergkamp as joint favourites for the manager's job. The promising news re the latter is that Gylfi Sigurdsson is allegedly keen on "geezers" being Icelandic.

How are sales of Cardiff's new red kit going down out there, Mr G? Ting Tong reckons they'll be all the rage soon from Lumpur to Lhasa. <laugh>

    Hi guys,

Another Tuesday night in the 'Yak & Yeti' and I can get online again. VERY lively here tonight; bottles, chairs being thrown all over the place!!

So Rodgers really has gone? Absolutely gutted. How about Steve Bruce next... or Neil Warnock?

Snowstorm outside - hope I don't get lost on the way back up to the monastery. Will check in again next week. :)

Mr Gullible, just thought you might not have heard the news down the Yak & Yeti as I know it's a lively place, and I know you can trust Tarquin to keep you up to date.

Michael Laudrup's our new manager!!, I thought this would cheer you up over a Yaks milk. Don't drink too many, as the Dali Lama might frown upon it, but I sure he will understand as he's a Jack.

    Mr G,

Russia and Poland are out of the Euro's, The Czechs and The Greeks are through. Word is that if Greece win the trophy they'll melt it down and take it to "Cash For Gold".

England beat Sweden for the first time ever in a competitive game too, strange but all true.

    Mr G

What is going on? The Swans are now run by Carlsberg and we are are (probably) the greatest team in the world.

Brendan has followed his American Dream, which always leads to disaster, while us Jacks have been watching Euro 2012 looking for new signings. I saw an up and coming younster last night - Christiano something. If he plays his cards right he could sign for the Swans - but he won't get the number 7 shirt off Leon.

We have got a Great Dane in charge now which means we are going to have a barkingly good season.

    Woof
