Ata boy Joe. It takes a little bit of time but you get the message eventually that the World continues to turn and life goes on. You would want it to be ever thus for your's and parents would always want the same for us. I got banned from ATD. I think it's because I was right all the time and they couldn't stand it......I've never been banned from anything ever before in my life. Quite novel really. We've signed a few and apparently we are quietly confident for this season. The World cup is still on.........mores the pity. That's about it then you are up to date.

Hi joe......glad your on here again......hope things are settling down for you and yours.....activity can help to get through the early weeks and with a new season only a month away.....and optimism seems to be lifting with Sheridan's new signings.....should be two more signings by Monday from what is being said......second goalkeeper and a mid-fielder to replace Hourihane.
I've never thought about the being right bit before notdistant. I'd always assumed I was anyway so it wasn't ever a surprise for me. I lied about the banning bit. Mrs S has banned me many times from many things. (Not that I've ever taken any notice but don't tell her).
Hi, yes all settling down at last, thank fully. Just so much to do. never realised.. but i had to do that for my day 30 years ago and could hardly remember.. The cost!! i think i am doing the prediction league this season unless Gat is up for it, i will text her to find out? I hope you will be taking part Not distant, the more the merrier.. I appreciate all your thoughts and support over the last few weeks, i did pop on to keep up to date at times..
Good for you Joe. Now that the silly competition is over the real one can start soon. FIFA should realise that our prediction league is "the" place to be and is more informed and intelligently done than MOTD punditry. I fear it might be a tad too difficult for Notdistant but I do think he should consider it and swallow the humiliation when it strikes and have a go anyway. He could learn a bit about football.
