QPR said to want West Ham keeper as Kenny is again linked with Leeds United 18/05/2012 by Michael Lee QPR will try to beat Tottenham to the signing of goalkeeper Robert Green if West Ham fail to win promotion, according to the Daily Mirror. West Brom and Spanish side Malaga have also been linked with the England international, whose contract expires this summer. It is claimed that Râs boss Mark Hughes is ready to offer him as much as £50,000 a week to move to Loftus Road. Rangersâ current number-one keeper Paddy Kenny is tipped to join former boss Neil Warnock at Leeds United. West Ham are expected to offer Green a new deal but it seems less likely he will re-sign for them if they lose to Blackpool in the Championship play-off final.
Not as first choice, worry about those hands. Really not sure about this, he does needs a run a top flight to show what he can do, plus west ham's defence always leaks like a sieve. Given a chance he may come good. This doesn't sound beyond the relms of reality the more I mull this one over. (well at the moment anyway)
