My son was one of the mascots yesterday and with all the negativity around the club I felt I would like to redress the balance a little. From the moment he was selected to the moment we left the reception area at 6pm everyone we came into contact with was first class. The players were all happy to stop and have pictures taken. The community team made all the kids feel welcome and not them just doing a job. Even my wife who hates football had nothing but praise for the club.
Its good to know some things are improving, to the clubs credit they dont hold the fans in the contempt that T & C did. Glad your son had great day hope he gets to do it again, as he may have brought us some much needed luck.
That is really good to hear loomo, the club needs to do more to attract younger supporters. One quick look around the stands will confirm that.
great too hear loo... from the last couple of write ups (i think nines did one not so long ago) it does sem that were getting good at this....now if we could just transfer that to the team..... lucky mascot maybe !
