He has built his game around drawing fouls. It is dull & tedious. A lad of his size & skill should be able to ride tackles better, stay on his feet and score/assist a lot more than he does….. like his team mates at City.

If the report has any substance in it then so be it. I don’t know any City fans that weren’t stunned and cautious about the fee for him which was also at odds with the usual practice of buying somebody at half the price and developing them. I watch him week and week out and know he’s had more than enough game time to establish himself and make the left wing spot his own. No disrespect to Villa but Grealish hasn’t adapted to often playing teams with 10 men behind the ball and too often runs down dead ends. Dare I say he is certainly a skilful player but there are other less skilful players that read the game far better and therefore contribute more. I do think he’ll play well for England in this ****ty World Cup and after that if he wants to move on then good luck to him.
