    You have to hand it to Bates. It must be a lot cheaper to hire a new manager just after the window has shut than whilst it's still open. It must limit your managerial options somewhat though

    Another delusions of grandeur club.

    He got them in this league and got them in the top half off the table, without him they were stuck in League 1.

    They will think that because they were good in the 70s that means they have a right to be good now but it simply isn't the case. The only history that matters in football is recent history (i.e. the last 3 or 4 years). Over that time he has sorted that club right out (the spoilsport) and they owe him big time.

    If he was at 10/11 ie. odds on and is now at evens, it means the bookies think he is becoming less likely not more likely.

    Posted on 4/jan/2012 @ 3pm that it was part of a BATES & FERNANDES plot. :emoticon-0150-hands With Colin in charge TWS can have all the DQPR drama queens and cast offs that Hughes no longer wants.....Kenny, Derry to name just 2.
