I never wanted Grayson to ge sacked.
If we keep on doing what we are doing, then yes I can see Warnock getting sacked after Christmas<ok>

Grayson was poor at Leeds, and he simply couldn't take the team forward. The best time to judge him at Huddersfield will be end of season. Trust me, beating Blackpool doesn't make him awesome, so lets see where his team finishes.

That's a load of rubbish. If Grayson was poor then how do you rate Warnock?

It's going too far to say that Grayson was poor.

He certainly had his weaknesses but had to deal with his best players being sold (Beckford, Delph, Howson, Gradel, Schmeichel, Johnson etc) and for the most part not being given the resources to re-invest in the team. This meant that he was reliant on free transfers and loan signings. OK, when he did have money his signings were so-so (McCormack and Gradel great but Collins and Connonly not so great) but that's to be expected when you don't have much to spend.

People also forget that he stayed loyal to Leeds when bigger clubs came calling for him. He's a decent guy and I hope he does well at 'Udders.

The same Grayson whose Leeds team that included Snodgrass, Howson, Johnson, Gradel and Beckford saw a 22 point lead dissapear to a Millwall side bought with peanuts to just 1 point?

Yeah and just look and how things have turned out - Grayson near the top and Millwall near the bottom <ok>

In my opinion Grayson's one real weakness was his inability to stand up to Bates because he was in his dream job. Although when he finally did he got the sack.

I don't think Grayson was poor but he made a LOT of mistakes with LOTS of poor quality panic signings. Yes he had no money but many of his panic buys were never going to cut it.

To be fair Mighty, there's hardly any posts at all on the Huddersfield board

Andy Gray? Luke Varney? Funnily enough having both hands tied behind your back tends to result in these kinds of signings. You need a player in a certain position, some journeyman is the best you can get with what you're given, he then doesn't cut it so you feel you have to sign a replacement and the cycle continues. You're then told by Uncle Ken that of course you're being backed, look at all the players he's let you sign.

He constantly said there was no point in buying for the sake of buying, new players would have to improve the team. Then he would sign a couple of turds anyway. Despite all that, I quite like him as a manager but think the Championship is his level

    welcome back Mighty

thought we'd lost you permanently, after certain unfortunate setbacks you have had. Good to see you rise above them.

Would rather have either of those two over Forrssell, Mika, Bessone, Rachubka, Nunez (4 yr contract!!), Rogers, Grella and half his loan signings who often played no more than a couple of games http://www.leeds.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=247796

I always really liked Larry,he was a fan who always wanted Leeds to perform, got us promoted, did well in Championship. I was gutted he got sacked and he deserved better, but since Warnock has come in, you can see we are training harder, trying to be the best we can, if anyone could replace Larry, I'm happy it was Warnock.

Larry made some silly signings with Leeds, but lets all be honest, he seems to have a good chairman behind him now who backs him and it seems to be paying off.

I obviously don't want Huddersfield to be doing better than us, but I don't spend much time worrying about other clubs. But if we both could get promoted, would love to see us beat them down in the premiership.

    Would be pretty sweet.

He had lots more time to make more signings than Warnock and didn't have the same ability to stand up to Bates. Look at the kind of signings he's making at Huddersfield with backing.

Half agree and half feel he has learnt from a few mistakes which is a positive in it's own.
