Well what ever the story is while we're paying his wages I'd like to think he'll still put in shift .
I have no doubt that if he is going to sunderland and he has his last game for us against them then if he can score he will....He is a decent lad and will give us 100% effort until he goes....
Can't see him going myself Dai, as we have probably left it too late to sign a replacement. The most likely outcome here is that he will stay with us until the end of the season and then we will sell him after bringing in a top quality striker. Edit. Unless a deal is imminent for a new striker.
Laudrup reckons the likely hood of anyone coming or going is very remote, he said anything is possible but i think DG will stay until the summer, Laudrup also said that if the club deem it not a good deal for them then the player would not leave,evn if he wanted to ,he wasnt talking about danny but he was really !!

Yep, he seams to be wanting out, but he can only go on our terms and we have a replacement to come in, if not sorry he'll have wait until the summer.
I'm surprised that he's leaving with a decent chance of a cup winner's medal in the near future. He must really be unhappy.
I just wish the boy comes out and says what he wants to do, seems to me he is hanging on for Newcastle to come in, if he really wanted out then we would have herd from him by now as i beleive both Sunderland and Norwich have offered what i beleive the club wants. So whats your opinion on the lad ? we have reservations as he's a Geordie, in your opinion will he still give us 100% if he does come to us?
I would find it foolish him leaving, sacking off a chance to get a medal and a big fat end-of-year bonus. If he requests to leave I would have thought he therefore foregoes any future bonus payment. You'd think that would be written into the contract.
