Steve Bruce in Hull is looking to strenghten his Squad for the season. He has Bendtner on his radar, the two of them have worked together a few times before already. He also looks at Graham. I in my short time watching Swansea, came to like Graham. And I'm confident he can strengthen Hull. When Di Canio came to Sunderland, I think Graham got the short end of the stick. Given Di Canios persona, and maybe more so, his act... I think he found out Graham was a Newcastle fan playing for Sunderland, and that sealed the deal for Di Canio, that's not allowed. Maybe I overthink things, mind grinding away to understand. But I hope for Graham he gets a real chance and takes it. Hope that for Bendtner too, given his age, I think he still has 1 or 2 shots left to shoot. Now Bendtner is apparantly demanding wages that are outlandish, as if he had had nothing but success since playing for Arsenal. He'll probably come around in this transfer window I reckon, but who knows. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23314255 Graham could also make a radical move, and find a nice place in the US to play some MLS. I'm sure they'd love him over there. Sporting Kansas, Houston Dynamo, LA Galaxy, upcoming New York City FC. All clubs running with the ball atm. Not to mention Real Salt Lake, those mormons are turning out to be the soccer fanatics over there. And then there's the Canadian teams, who are intent on giving the US the same treatment they gave them in hockey. Maybe an option for Bendtner too.
A Few don't like Graham because of his Newcastle likks but that only a very small few. The fact is he looks unbelievably poor, slow and uninterested. admittedly only had a dozen games or so but I recall one decent passage of play to set Rose up to score in all that time, says it all really, setting up a full back to score when he desperately needed one. Personaly I would give him another season but he will probably be fourth choice behind Fletcher, Altidore and a newbie as PDC wants five strikers. Ji looks like going and Whicham not good enough/loan next season.
I'm sorry but he had a "real chance ' when he was with us , nothing against the guy and good luck to him but all I see now for him is a slide back to the Championship
I think he will suit Hull. I still have a lot of time for Graham, scored some good and important goals for us. Was never going to work for him at sunderland. A move to Hull is a good move. Good luck.
