Poor class citizens, now get free papers.

As a council dweller, on an estate in Stoke-on-Trent, today shocked me.

I can hear you now, why Huth?

After the demise of the News of the World, us on council estates were in mourning, we only looked at pictures & sunday supplement mags.

    So what happens today?

I go to the local shop, for my 3 bottles of cider(x 2 litres), & get offered a free Sunday Times.

Well it has now taken me 8 hours, just to read the front page, but i can feel my intellectual status growing.

    Long let Cameron rule

The Times is great, I read the Business section and tackle the cryptic crossword, £1 well spent.

You know that The Times is run by the same company that ran The News of the World, right?

It's £1 during the week. The sunday times is more expensive.

£1 in the week. £2.20 seems a lot when most of it goes in the rcycling bin without having been looked at.
