Saints fan in peace! There is still a lot of talk of Gorkss coming to Southampton before transfer Window closes, Why would you sell from what I've seen is your best defender, FYI you can have puncheon for nothing I will drive him to loftus road myself
God knows, have a word with Flabio as he seems to be dealing with transfers. Keep Puncheon, can't see him getting near our first team anyway.
If you do get Gorkss, he'll do well for you. He took a few games to settle down at Loftus Road, but after that became a key part of the best defence in the Championship last year. Don't know why we're selling him or why he wasn't at least on the bench on Saturday. I have wondered whether he might have had a falling out with NW, but Gorkss has never struck me as a guy with a difficult temperament. Quite the opposite.
He's a quality Championship defender, almost certainly the best we have, and captain of his national team. **** knows why we'd sell him when Fitz ****ing Hall gets in the first team.
Good in the air, strong in the tackle, gives 110%, brave and strong. Only problem is pace. Also he is a great threat from set pieces. Why we want to sell I do not know, he is definitely our best defender.
It looks like Gorkks is on his way out. I cant believe it?! I'm pretty gutted. He's definitely better then Hall. I tip Southampton for play-offs at least to be honest and Gorkks would be a great signing for you.
Absolutely agree (well I would, given my username). I think that he's the bravest defender we have, and he showed last season that he's also got real quality. Would also be gutted to see him go.
I wouldn't let Gorky go to the Saints. From the display on Saturday against Bolton I'd put Gorky ahead of Gabbidon and One-Size. Not just the own goal either, I don't think the pair worked well together and would rather have Kaspars back in the starting line up. He was out for a while with an injury and took a while to get back up to speed when he returned but for the majority of the season I reckon he was the best of our back line and just as much down to him as Paddy Kenny that we kept so many clean sheets. Sad loss if he is let go.
