Whittingham's slightly overrated IMO. Definitely in the top 5 players in the division but not any better than the others in that group.
Couldn't help but notice that what Snod's said about his future and what he thought of the transfer policy was not included in the recording on LUTV. I wonder why... stupid propaganda machine.
I dont think he'll leave. He will become the highest paid player at the club if he accepts his new contract. Warnock also stated, if Leeds don't make the premier league next year he'll sell him to a premier league team.
1. We played 4-2-3-1 with Howson played the advanced central role and Snoddy and Gradel as wingers. Wingers dropped back into 4-4-2 when defending. 2. Kilkenny? Defensive duties? Jesus christ nuff said on that. I could eat a banana and that alone would contribute more to defending than he has ever done. He never played in a defensive role, he hated doing any of that work and never did. Also when playing with Clayton he often played in a similar role anyway with Clayton sitting back in a defensive role, it just depended on which players were available as with the exclusion of Brown for the first few months he couldn't do it to the full extent as Clayton is a neutral central midfielder, he can play defensive or attacking. Need a full out defensive midfielder to go with Howson
I thought Howson's anonymity in the midfield was due to being outshined by Clayton. While I'm not saying Clayton is better going forward than Howson, Clayton is more at home in a balanced midfield role. Clayton had more confidence in that role which meant he didn't hesitate getting forward, resulting in Howson being overshadowed by Clayton and getting stuck back.
Either way we were playing 3 central midfielders which meant Howson could get forward without having to be sprinting back as he was covered by two other central midfielders whether or not they were defensive players.
