    The Rafa effect.

We are clearly hard to beat.

We are competing in every game and every game is close. Keep that up and we'll stay up; we'll win some and some we'll lose. Talk of relegation is daft right now - do you ever see relegation teams who are as hardworking and organised?

    Well said.
I cannot see us getting embarrassed this season. We will lose. But I feel the games will be fine line games. Barring random Ref **** ups.

I'd like to see the return to Sunderland of Sir David of Moyes. Before he gets snapped up by West Ham <laugh>

Can't think of a more useless stat than this one.

We could go through the whole season conceding one goal in the 90th minute after scoring in the first minute in half the games and not scoring in the others while conceding in the 90th minute and our stats would look like this:
    upload_2017-11-7_10-34-43.png

We would have 19points and be a certainty for relegation.

It may be a cliche but the game is about the score at the final whistle - there are no prizes awarded for how long you are winning or drawing. In order to win games you need to score more than you concede - at the moment our lack of striking options is putting too much pressure on our defence and we will end up losing more than we win until we sort that out.

    This absolutely.

I dont mind the drab football and boredom as long as we actually do score some goals.

I honestly think we need a goalscorer in the January transfer window. It is absolutely crucial.

I also think we need to change the way we play aswell but that is my personal opinion. We are hard to beat, maybe. But we are also easy to defend against.

As a relegation candidate that's no surprise though. I struggle to think of any team that has successfully stayed up playing an attacking brand of football, maybe Wigan after they spent 2/3rds of the season playing truly awful.
Its definitely the players at his disposal, he's created a good team out of it to me.
What I will say is I reckon we're set up to steal a few results from some of the bigger teams. We might have got something at spurs but for that slappyheaded twat being a slappyheaded twat.
Personally I try to remember how much we were all ****ting ourselves come the end of the window, I feel 10x better about our situation than I did then.
    Roll on January!

I think I see where you're coming from.
It's a bit like showing stats for how long you have been leading the public votes in the Headline Games over the season. Doesn't mean you'll ever win it.
