The next handful of games caught my eye today, they are as follows; 15 January v Newcastle (a) 17 January v MK Dons (FA Cup third round replay, (h) 21 January v Wigan (h) 1 February v Aston Villa (a) 4 February v Wolves (h) 11 February v Blackburn (a) I don't think I am being too ambitious to say that all of these are potential wins for us and MH can have no better run of matches to secure the points required for our survival and set up another home tie against Chelski in the next round of the Cup. The current squad should be able to do well in these fixtures, let alone the new and improved team we have been promised. March brings Everton (h) Bolton (a) Liverpool (h) Sunderland (a) and Arsenal (h). Even that isn't such a bad run of games for Sparky to get stuck into. If MH can't get past MK Dons and bag 10-12 points in the league games during January and February there will be questions asked.
Results will depend on transfer targets being secured. And questions are ALREADY being asked - that's the nature of the job.....
Regardless of any new transfers, one thing that SHOULD vastly play into our favour now is that every player SHOULD be playing for their place in the squad, which SHOULD mean that we will see more effort and hopefully some more quality.
