I think we could play a narrow 4-3-3 with 3 strikers as opposed to 1 striker and two wide players as well. We've got strikers who are capable of drifting out into the channels and picking the ball up which would stretch opposition defenders as they'd be quite unpredictable. We also have the option of having a proper wide players to either start wider, or bring on as subs and change the game if we aren't having much luck through the middle. That'd leave Murphy, Austin, Green (and alternatives from the mids we decide to keep or the likes of Thompson) free to play a more fluid midfield three, holding when needed or pushing on
Perhaps Hunt up front with McCormack just behind? Not sure about Poleon/Diouf on LHS. What about Murphy? Perhaps Austin in place of Brown, Murphy in place of Austin?
