    Hey Peeps,

What the hell is up with the East Anglia??? Why are they obsessed with Leeds Utd. Please I'm asking you nicely NORWICH AND IPSWICH, SOD OFF, and leave us alone. Even if you were to merge, which I think you should do, you will still be a smaller than than us <ok>

As already reported Leeds have told Norwich that they do not want to sell Snodgrass to them, let that be the end of it, by next season we will be all over you....

Warnock isd chasing a new keeper to give competion to Paddy Kenny. Personally I think Rachubka is the greatest keeper Ive ever seen (we need to tweet this to norwich and ipswich, that would deserve some serious rep) <laugh>

Lee Peltier has left the Lesta training camp in Austria, and come home hoping for a move. If £650,000 has already been turned down by Uddersfield, what chances do we have??? Would you want Leeds to spend that sort of money on him?

Lonergan has signed for Bolton, good luck to the lad!!!

    Over to you...

Morning all, are we ready for another day of ....... not much news or happenings. Mind you we could see news about Austin if the Lonners cash is used for a new player. Not too fussed about Peltier especially at that price tag.

Lets hope for something happening on the takeover front, because its been a while now, and the rumours are starting to get silly. Someone said yesterday that the deal had collapsed, so another consortium was drafted in. If this is true then it shows that our cooked books are a worry for potential new owners. It would also mean that the 2nd choice investors who offered less cash, or didn't have the same funds available are in the frame. It would also show desperation by Bates who is trying to get out with his shirt, because without funds we're in trouble. Thanks Ken for raping us. Lets hope the original party are still involved and the DD is just running its course.

Massive trip to Cornwall coming up and it would be best if we had some more new faces in. Snodds said he would make his mind up in July once he's seen the ambition of the club. Well he's been back for a couple of weeks now, and although a couple of bids have come in, he's still here. This makes for positive feelings as it could suggest that the takeover is almost done and Warnocks plans are to his liking :emoticon-0103-cool:

Morning Doc, Im quite excited by Austin, I also think the ER faithful will love him. Nothing would surprise me by Bates, and what he has up his greasy sleeve...

Morning Elland, morning all those joining. Norwixh might be the East Anglia Country bumpkins, but even they wouldn't be stupid enough to be interested in Rachubka. Ipswich on the other hand...

Morning all - I would expect the money received for Lonergan to be swiftly used today, hopefully a fee agreed for Austin then we will have to wait for him to arrive for a medical and then an announcement by the end of the week. Then we would have to wait for the work permit of course.

A few weeks back with the T/O imminent (hopefully this week LUST announced 3 weeks ago) I couldn't help but wonder about Warnocks targets and dealings when that big cash egg was just around the corner. It's a good job he wasn't waiting for it to arrive or we would have been in even worse ****.

Hats off to the man, he has been working and wheeling and dealing behind the scenes on just as tight a budget as Grayson had so far. Yes we are a good few players short and yes we still badly need that T/O to happen but I have to say I am impressed on how NW has continued to work as if no funding was going to be made available wheeling and dealing his own funds.

    Morning all

Warnocks interview on Talksport also indicates the TO is still on so best to ignore all the **** stirring rumours.

If I have a choice between the two, I want the takeover to succeed. Snoddy and Ross are replaceable especially if we have a transfer budget. These two players may be a little over rated by some because of some of the dross that has been in Leeds teams with them. It is infinitely more important for this takeover to succeed. Without it, we may never see promotion but would be more likely to go the other way. The future of the club is at stake

I know this post will risk a slating but I am not bothered about Ross or Snodgrass - Yes in an ideal world I would like them to both stay and fight for a place, I believe that Snoddy would be a permanent fixture in the team but we have to be honest, he isn't the quickest and he shone in a very poor team finishing 14th.

I do believe it will be hard to replace him but not impossible, I was more disappointed about losing Gradel. Has Snoddy got what it takes to move up a level? We see Villa and Norwich sniffing around him, hardly the big guns of the premier league. If the price is right and Warnock feels he can replace him with better or at least equal then let him go.

This coming season is a new beginning and if players don't wish to be a part of it then let them go. We were upset about Clayton leaving and a few moaning that Green isn't a decent replacement, it now looks like Austin is in fact the replacement being lined up not Green and from what I have seen and heard about Austin I am sure he will be far more exciting than Clayton ever was and hopefully not a 1 in 4 player.

Fate has a funny way of working - Drury in the Premier league next season and Snoddy, Johnson and Howson in the Championship anyone? Ladbrokes have Norwich at 6/4 to go down and Leeds 7/2 for promotion

    Eire spot on mate :emoticon-0148-yes::emoticon-0148-yes:

Snoddy always looked brilliant because he is better than what we had on the pitch, so bound to stand out. He's the worlds slowest winger, but so was Eddie, but Snodds isn't in that sort of class. maybe he has plenty of potential but he's replaceable. Ross didn't pull up trees at Cardiff after the season when he started scoring, so was dropped and surpluss to requirements. He came to us and was woeful but last season he seemed to gain confidence and rattled almost 20 goals in. There are better strikers out there.

Becchio is touted as Warnocks front man, so he needs a good parter to create for and create for him, because he's capable of scoring 20 if given the service. Ross and Luciano didn't really work last season did it.
