Good Morning, Controversial forward El-Hadji Diouf could be a Leeds playere next season. The vile scumbag is apparantly on Warnocks hitlist. Is he the kind of player we need to get us to the Prem. Thoughts?? Also, already reported, Bates (apparantly) has turned down Beckford twice this season. Could he do a job for us? Who would you prefer Diouf or Beckford??? Leeds have had a lot of average players over the years, but when has one of these players surprised you. I remember in the preliminary rounds of UEFA, (in 92 I think) we were playing Stuttgart, Wilko subbed off Cantana, and bought on Carl Shutt so ran from the half way line, beat a few players, and scored a brilliant goal, remember that one???
Going back to that Stuttgart game, I think thats the only time that UEFA have helped us out. Stuttgart had beaten us, but had played one too many overseas players in there squad, and we had to have a reply which we won.....

Morning Elland, morning all. Don't remember the Stuttgart game, but I do remember us losing the "Battle of Britain" against Rangers. C'est La Vie. Just waiting for the jokes to start flowing now that Rangers won't be able to sign anyone for a year. Even we're in a better position than that!!! Diouff of Beckford? Beckford every time. Spitting at a fellow professional is one of the two worst things you can do, the other being to deliberately injure someone with the intent of possibly ending their career. Don't see too much of this, but Diouff does have a history of spitting at people. Anyone know or heard rumours about the big announcement due this week?

I was going to say that Bates has asked me to come out of retirement. He allegedly told my media Manager, Max Clifford, that he'd pay me a tenner a week plus all the pies & Sam Smiths I can drink. When Bates worked out the cost, he apparently told Max that even ManUre couldn't afford me. No, apparently both Warnock & someone whose name escapes me said late last week that there would be some announcements this week about the club. Not sure if it would be confirmation of incomings or what. Haven't heard or seen anything as yet. I was just wondering if anybody else had.
Webber has really surprised me this season. I openly said that I thought he was **** before he got here and although he hasn't done that much he has looked quite good on the ball with almost every touch he's had
As I've asked before, Saturday is our final game of the season. We have a number of injuries & a feww players still needing to put a case for why they should be retained. With all of this in mind, will we go out with a whimper on Saturday or a bang? Any thoughts on the likely size of the crowd; 25k+ or around 20k?
