Morning folks,

Brizzle on Saturday, wonder how bad a reception Kilkenny will get? The City fans who were taunting us during pre-season have gone very quiet lately; cant imagine why?

Really hope we can build on our win against Palace and get a run going, a clean sheet would be nice; I think that would mean Grayson dipping into the transfer market and finding another centre back and a right back. I think Pags made a good point yesterday, none of our players are blessed with a lot of height.

Hope Clayton recovers from his calf strain in time for Saturday.

Song of the day is a request :- Its Fat Les and Vindaloooooooooo

Good win for the boys, season definately starts from here. Despite the obvious link with killa, I hope Clayton smashes him. a clean sheet? Doh, if only!

Not and ex pat, born and bred in Sydney. Followed the fortunes of the mighty LUFC since the early 70's, its been quite a ride.

Thanks to modern technology, I enjoy a chat with the supporters to keep up the latest news.

Morning Elland, morning Ozzie. Morning everyone joining. Can't say I'm bothered about Kilkenny. Even Brown contributes more to the team than Kilkenny & that's saying something. Me thinks at home we really should win this comfortably, but I am hoping Clayton is fit & back.

On songs of the day given who is contributing so far, I would go for that classic about all Australians being born (next word deleted to keep the censors happy) & ends up reminding them that they "... lost the world cup on home soil, & the ashes too...

Heyho, could we finally keep a clean sheet on Saturday?

Elland, I saw manure when I was 8 in Sydney, v NSW, saw Best Law Charlton and thougt they were greats but...they beat us. Many jump on their bandwagon, but I saw a Leeds game on TV when I was little where they beat manure. So, logically, these guys MUST be the best. GODS. I was besotted and its lasted these 30 years.

    <laugh> I have a good point <laugh>

A woman having a point on football, whatever next. :D

Did anyone here the kafuffle on Stan’s show on Radio? Where some Neanderthal rang in about women should not be at the ground it’s a mans game etc. <doh>

Aren’t the women’s football team better than the men? Or am I wrong in thinking that they can at least compete against the best not bend over and let them take them from behind? ;) <nahnah>

No probs Ozzie. Whilst the singers at LH3 choose the song referred to above, your boys when the come over make some reference or other to Nelson being a one-eyed pommie xxxxxxd. All done in the best possible taste... but at least you lot know what a decent sized steak looks like for the barbie. If barbieing ever became an olympic sport, you & the Boks would be a fair bet for the gold medal.

Pags to support your arguement, the football attache at the world cup was female who'd apparently played non league in her past. Girlie footy would be a lot better if they exchanged shirts at the end of the game or did a Drogba when they scored a goal.

    Hi Pags :emoticon-0128-hi:

I have a daughter and 2 sons who play. I've coached men and women, boys and girls and I know they love the game as much as the gents, but compete? Sorry

I dont mean compete against the boys you daft sod <laugh>

The biggest growing game is womens football throughout Britain and what I meant was, our Ladies national team are competing better than the men cos at least they give it a go, get to final and semi finals. The mens lot just ****ing fluff it.

Silly buggers, even I'm happy to admit that when it comes to sports, men are generally faster and stronger in the respective categories :)
