I have the dubious pleasure of being a Leeds fan living near to Millwall and I have to say that most âWall fans Iâve met are a good bunch. Although both clubs do have a fair share of loose cannons (like the paralytic moron who tried to fight a bloke on the bus back from Elland Road on Saturday because he thought he was a Watford fan â despite the fact that he was wearing a Leeds scarf) â so letâs hope they stay away on Sunday. On future transfers, I wouldnât want to give Warnock £6 let alone £6m given his track record in the transfer market. Of his signings, only Paul Green has been anything other than woeful this season. Varney came to life a bit on Saturday but is still piss-poor and Norris shouldnât be anywhere near a Leeds shirt.
Interesting post Jason. I would trust Warnock to spend the money well. Interesting that you live near to Milwall. How do you find getting from where you live to the New Den to watch us, or do you avoid it when we're in town?
elland - the way your crowds are plummeting we might have a better average than you by the end of season
This is the 2013 Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 Roadster, an open-top version of Lamborghini's range-topping supercar. It's available to order now, with first deliveries expected in summer 2013. The Aventador Roadster uses the same 691bhp 6.5-litre V12 engine as the coupe. Four-wheel drive and a seven-speed paddle-shift transmission are standard; the Roadster's 0-62mph time is just 0.1 seconds slower than the coupe's, at 3.0 seconds. Most of the Aventador Roadster's bodywork is shared with the coupe version, but it has a new engine cover and a gloss black finish for the windscreen surround, roof and part of the rear window area. The removable two-piece roof is made from carbonfibre, and can be stored in the front luggage compartment. please log in to view this image The Lamborghini Aventador Roadster uses the same 691bhp 6.5-litre V12 engine as the coupe Lamborghini hasn't announced UK prices, but in Europe the Aventador Roadster costs €300,000 before taxes, which should translate to a UK price of around £300,000. please log in to view this image Roadster gets a new engine cover and a gloss black finish for the windscreen surround please log in to view this image Removable two-piece roof is made from carbonfibre, and can be stored in the front luggage compartment please log in to view this image UK prices haven't been announced, but in Europe the Aventador Roadster costs €300,000 before taxes
The only time I've seen it get hairy was when we played at the Den in the League 1 Play-off first leg. I came through London Bridge and loads of 'Wall fans had gone their to "greet" Leeds fans heading towards South Bermondsey. Although the police kept the two sets apart it wasn't pretty. Aside from that I do have a soft spot for our kitten friends. In a city surrounded by Chelsea fans (cnuts), Arsenal fans (smug cnuts) and West Ham fans (thick cnuts), there are many worse than Millwall fans. I reckon we'll get a good result on Sunday - we might only concede 3 or 4 goals.
I actually rate Norris and varneys persistence up front will do better than an out of form Becchio, take away the penalties n Becchios scored 1 in 14
Why would you take away penalties? What's next in the line of 'lesser than a real goal'? Headers? Goals from a corner? Goals from an indirect freekick? Anyway, do that for Varney and he still has a big fat zero goals. Becchio IN. That's just plain hyperbole. Austin, Kenny, Drury, Pearce, Norris - woeful, really? By the way, you can just say ****s if you want - no swear blocker if you turn the filter off.
Kissa, that's an easy stat to quote, but how many chances have been made for him? Far fewer than last year, I'd wager. No-one else is scoring prolifically either, so I'd hazard a guess that it's not the gun that's at fault, but the ammunition provided. In fact, that's what we've been worrying about since pre-season - who's going to provide the spark in midfield now that Snoddy's gone. Now we know. Bloody no-one. I don't think Becchio should take the blame for the midfield's lack of creativity.
Greens done **** all when he's played. Pearce has been decent, as has Norris. Varney is starting to show promise. Peltier poor. Tonge average
JWRF, Have you ever bumped into both Millwall fans at the same time Elland we dont need two fans to take your lot on one is more than enough
Think I may have got mixed up then. All this information was from my dad when I asked who this guy was and he is known for getting info wrong so probably shouldn't have passed it on Anyway, good to see an attacking player on the bench I suppose
