Snuggle........one of the many definitions of sarcasm 'Sarcastic is an adjective used to describe something (usually a comment) that means the opposite to what is literally implied. It is usually used as a form of humour in conjunction with irony.' Armed with this information please feel free to re-read my initial comment.....btw I'm not a 'supposed' Cardiff fan, but a 'lifelong' Cardiff Fan.
I see there is divided opinions on this one......It seems some people cannot put rivalry to one side and support a fellow Welsh club once in a while. When I was 15/16, I hated you, I wished nothing but bad luck to you, but now, as an adult, you can put the immaturity to one side and actualy wish your rivals well, which I have not hidden this year. Good luck with your continued assault on the title........See you next year.
Chico! I prefer to believe we are a broad church who have varied opinions about all subjects and we are not afraid to voice them. Imagine a board where all posters sang from the same hymn sheet.
Fair comment that. I'm not disputing the opinions, I'm disputing the fact some posters can't put rivalry aside at times....I find it a shame.
If someone who alledgely supports Cardiff City wants to wish them luck, then there is nothing to stop him going on the jacks thread and praising them. Just don't post a thread on here designed to wind people up. The nepotism thread was just a bit of fun and banter in an otherwise quiet period. Don't introduce to this in a spurious attempt to make things look the way you want them to look. If we keep saying the jacks are obsessed with us, then posting threads like this just gives them the opportunity to throw the accusation back at us. Lets worry about CCFC and about our team purchases promotions and the team we are playing next, not about a team that none of us (Allegedly) like and who can and will have no influence on our promotion chasing year. And if you don't like my opinion then bar me.
seems the only one getting wound up is you personally, I couldn't give a **** about your opinion one way or the other but if I want to have conversation with jacks, I will...and wont be dictated to by you just because I'm supposed to 'hate' them because I'm from Cardiff... and, more to the point, because you dont like it
Whoa guys. We're never all going to agree but let's not start fighting amongst ourselves. Being as far away from Wales as I am it is good to see any Welsh side doing well and getting some recognition even if it is the jacks sometimes. As a Cardiff fan from the early 70s born & raised in Barry I never thought I would think like that, even 10 years ago I wouldn't have pissed on one of them if he was on fire but time & mainly distance changes your point of view. Well until we're in the PL as well of course.
Excellant post H. Nobody is going to say your "obsessed" with us because you wished us well. Seems a natural thing to say about a fellow Welsh club tbh. Until you get to the PL I will continue to wish you well. Once you get here, you will be proper rivals again, and I will not wish you all the best as we will both be fighting for places. That said, I wouldn't wish relegation on you. So, to get wound up over a thread about us is abit silly. If you don't want to wish us luck, don't post.
Ash - don't lecture anyone on here about getting wound up mate - your board is full of Zebedies, and it doesn't take much to get them bouncing over anything "Cardiff". For a start, I don't think the OP was wishing luck at all - read it again. That said, the way Swansea have taken to the Premier League is nothing less than admirable. If we did manage to get up and do as well as you've done, I'd be well pleased. If you do go on to win the Carling, it should be seen as a great achievement and a credit to SCFC no matter how many claim it to have been "devalued" over the years. I must say though that I agree with Snaggs over the need to post Swansea articles on this board. It's fair to say you don't have to comment if you don't want to, but seeing it refreshed in the listings all the time is a complete pain. Oops, I've done it now!!
