As it happens I'm starting golf again. I needed a new hobby and I used to really enjoy it. I was quite a good little player back in the day.. started young and had a membership for close house as my father worked for newcastle university so I got it free....even turned my parents garden in to a pitch and put. I wish I could find a course that lets my dog follow me around though .

We’ve just been given the go ahead for three games a week now at Castle Eden, booking in times monitored. Frigging weather has changed now <doh>

The first couple of weeks was glorious, ball zipping through the air. Your club must be like a lot of others, lots of members all wanting to play and no visitors allowed.

I play with a guy sometimes who's mobility isn't the best but he's got a little spaniel that follows us round. He lies down behind him when he tees off and when we all walk on he runs straight to where the ball is. Even if it's in the trees he's very good at finding it....I need one! I'm on the south coast though.

Alright then Dorty, I'm considering playing 9 nine holes this summer as a starter.
As I've not played since 2012, I'll only give you one shot per hole.
I'll also need a buggy to put my feet up when I'm waiting for you.

Seriously, though I'm thinking of going up Beggars Wood, for a bit practice if you fancy it.
