So my guess is as good as yours but personally i think that Paddy Kenny will be definitely at Leeds next year and he may be the signing that Neil wants to announce come the beginning of May. Depending what our position is next year i could see Dezza and Hill following suite.

So if Kenny leaves, and its a more 'when' then 'if at the moment, who would you want to replace him. If we stayed up and Wigan went down Al-Habsi is a good shout. Or maybe someone like Ben Foster. Rob Greens name also seems to be mentioned many a time by apparent 'insiders'. We could go with youth with maybe someone like Kasper Schmeichel (who i think is excellant and another name insiders have mentioned) or someone like Jack Butland, England U21 Keeper who will be a real star, ive seen him play when he was on loan at Cheltenham (Local Club) and he was excellant in my opinion.

Any other changes you would want to see in the team?

Been impressed with Ben Foster this season, great save yesterday to deny Yakubu an equaliser and then saved Orr's follow up (thank you Bradders ;)).
If we stay up and we could pull that signing off I would like us to sign Jamie Ashdown as a strong nr two. That would be one hell of an improvement on what we have now.

But to be fair to Paddy, he's upped his game recently and that promises well for the rest of this season. And who could forget last season, a true leader with his brilliant displays.

Jamie Ashdown had a great game yesterday in the South Coast Derby. But i would prefer Stephen Henderson, who Pompey have had to ship out on loan because of financial complications. He is a very good young keeper. And my word that was a brilliant double save by Foster.

Never seen him before but I'll look out for him from now on.

But if we stay up, why don't we aim for the sky and go for Marc-André ter Stegen? Europes by far biggest goalkeeping talent.

Seen him play a few times, for Gladbach is it? and he is fantastic and has his best years ahead of him, will be a world beater.

Correct, 19 years of age and conceding very few goals in a goal crazy league. The Germans rate him higher than Neuer at the same age.

Apparently hes seen as the next Oliver Khan, and has been labelled better than Manuel Neuer already. Must be decent!

Tom Heaton, #2 at Cardiff is a good keeper.

Really? Really?!!! You must be havin' a laugh, surely?

I'll agree he isn't the worst back up goalie you could have but he's having more off days than on days.

Actuallu think Al-Habsi could be the one to make the next legend. Great saves most games, and not many mistakes.

I would not sign Schmichel in my view he is inclined to punch the ball rather than try to catch it.

if we were talking about another Schmeichel a few years back, would go screaming, but don't think this new one is even close to him...

I did say good not great - Tom Heaton would be a useful squad player. At Cardiff this season he seems to have been restricted to mainly cup games, and from what I saw he made a very good account of himself, as he did for us on loan a while back.

Yes, you're right about that. From what I've seen he's a good shot stopper, not so convincing in his command of the area though.

Schmeichel would be ok but he hasnt been at his club that long.

Cheeky move for Courtois on loan?
    I dont want Rob Green.
Foster would be a good choice

We must get a big commanding goalie and of course a #2 if Cerny retires.

Despite all the discussion here, I thought that Paddy Kenny had one of his best games for us today.

Yeah, I only listened to the commentary but it sounded like Paddy had one of his best games of the season. Let's give credit where due. (Yes, I know there's been some comment abut the second going under his dive.) There's been signs that Paddy has perked up a bit lately so I wouldn't write him off yet. Good, young, competitive back-up needed, though.
