I've heard westwood was out with an illness today and will probably be fit for wigan, if not then definitely for chelsea. The question is, who do we make first choice? Great decision for MON to have to make but a very hard one I feel. Both mig and westwood have their good points and bad. For me, I think overall I'd feel safer with Westwood between the sticks, but in time I think Mig could become the better goalie, so do we stick him on to get him the experience? Big decision for MON and one which I'm sure he'll get right!
Gordon's bloody good as well. Lets not knock it lets just rely on the main man Sir Marty to choose correctly.
Sorry but I don't think Ming will ever make a good goalie. His handling isn't good. His positional sense and decisions making are dreadful. Every cross he flapped at and the one he connected with, was a soft punch to the edge of the box. From which City got another shot off. His kicking is terrible too, 99% the time it was going to a City player and they built up their attack again. The commentator said good save by Ming when the ball was actually kicked straight at him. To me I still think Flash is our No1 but Westwood is in the driving seat and will have to be ousted from between the sticks.
Both doing well. We have two international keeper's. Both young and will improve. Looks like Gordon's a goner.
