Man U calling - if not now, then in the close season.

They do it all the time - ala Edwin van der Sar, Antonio Valencia, Dmitar Berbatov, etc.

Let a player settle in the EPL, see if he makes it, then get Fergie to the airport.

If Balatelli is worth £20mill then Cesar is easily worth that if not more, we would have had zero points this month with any other keeper!

Yep. Unbelievably good shot stopper. Earned us a lot of points. You can feel the confidence in the back 4 and a large part of that is down to cesar.

Overal tonight played great but his punches were quite lame tonight and fluffed a couple of them and we just got away with it

Can only think of one punch that was dodgy, the rest cleared the area.

Was a great save mate, as the OP says world class.

I agree, he really grew into this game despite being a bit shaky in the early stages handling some of the crosses.

Green is still a good backup keeper and he demonstrated his capabilities in the WBA FA Cup replay game.

    What a save!

The last time I saw a save of that calibre at HQ Phil Parkes was playing.

As i have always said, world class, anyone in the loft will have heard the massive thud as he saved it. Chocolate wrist Green would have just palmed it into the net. There was also a corner dipping under the bar which he pushed out, rather than into his own net a la Green.

    Top keeper.

keepers are very important, world class ones earn 12-14 points a season, we had e.v.d sar, with zat knight mare and zesh rehman in front of him, he saved us at least 14 points most seasons, he was our only defence, just hope he stays

Green did a stellar job at WBA in FA Cup game, so when motivated he still has the capability to perform as a top class keeper.

Totally agree. Just the one dodgy punch out (that should really of been caught) but the rest were strong.

Think the slagging off of Green on here is a bit harsh to be honest. He's good for what he is being used for, back up if Cesar gets a knock
