just seen that villa lost 5-0, can see the bottom 3 this season being decided on it, will make it even more nerve rackin !!! have to stay positive and believe the rrrr's will do it.
Pity that our GD is so poor then - only after that result do we not have the worst in the league - it's points we need, the way our defence is giving away goals I wouldn't want to rely on GD to stsy up
The only consolation is that there are at least 8 other teams that are inept as we are. Perhaps an apt reflection of the UK social demographic illustrated by the EPL - the gap between rich and poor (in financial and technical terms) - is growing. Albeit that Southampton are a stark exception. I was asked by my Stoke City hosts yesterday whether they thought that we would be relegated. My response: It all depends whether we can elevate our final position above three other teams. As simple as that. That's the modern game for you. A few oligarchs with power and the rest fighting over the scraps.
I keep hoping that 'it will click' & we have a nice 3 game run, 2wins & a draw at least to lift us out & up, cut out the annoying defensive mistakes that keep happening, stop giving the ball away so bloody much & then hopefully score a few more with more attacking from the midfield & better one touch, forward moving football... ( i would of thought Hoddle would be able to help here) Heres hoping
Yep. I'm sick of top level, elite football. Chelsea vs. Man City last night... I couldn't give a toss. They may have skill but I don't want to see a bunch or rich pricks running around diving and trying to win at all costs because so much money is at stake.
Yes Sooper i know, but if they can cut out those silly mistakes, games can be won or at least drawn,what with all the other teams leaking goals aswell rangers 'could' be nearer the top half of the bottom mini league. I was looking at the fixtures for all the bottom 8 & after the next 3/4 games we could all still be on & around 25/6 pts & IF 'our fine lads' can get a bit of luck & play more cohesively 2 wins & a draw should be managable & a much needed 6/7 points
I think its great too Swords but being subjected to the bullshit is too hard to take IMO. I cannot understand how fans think this is OK at the moment We are still in it and could well finish mid table but what i saw after two weeks prep yesterday first half has made me blow. We are here and we should enjoy it but I cannot accept Harold's attitude that this is as good as it gets ... we have to be content with it. Look at the other clubs and how they handle themselves
Must add.... my take on the games are only from watching the streams, i only manage to get to LR a couple times a season, next visit should be the last home game v Newcastle......... what hopefully will result in a win akin to the stoke game in 11/12 that this time will have us safe before the last game .... cos that was tooooooooo much !!!!!
