I mentioned in a thread when Van Persie first left that you can't help but feel Wenger has just sold them the title.

 

City are still significantly better IMO. The scummers still leak goals like a sieve.

 

Ferdinand is nothing like the player he was. 30m for any player in the last year of his contract is going to be hard to turn down, unless you're Ken, then 300,000 is a tempting offer

 

But when you are Arsenal and selling to your rivals, will never understand that one.

I believe football will be run more and more like a business in the future, yeah, amazing player, but realistically can only be the world class player he is for the next two seasons

 

Just like we sold Clayton to our rivals, (for a pittance I might add), I'll never understand that one either.

 

LIE we sold Clayton and got 3 equally good centre mids for the sane price I'd say that was a good bit of business to be honest.

 

I'd say Austin's better, Green's not and Norris is debatable but has only a couple of years left at most. We might as well have kept Clayton for his remaining year, he wouldn't have been on much anyway, instead of making Huddersfield's midfield stronger. Would've been better to list Pugh in the first place.

 

Only Austin's better and he's a completely different kind of player.

I did say equally as good not better green looked decent first game but went n got bloody injured n Norris is playing the howson role so guess greens the comparison but 3 for price of 1 was good business IMO
