Innit. Ring 'em for every penny they've got and try and get a loanee out of it too. Nick our manager, and prepare to feel the wrath of a pissed off Swansea boy!

    Squeeze them till it hurts.

Tell them it's either £5m or they get Roberto

It's a bit of a strange one this. We know they want him, so would expect them to cough up, but they know it could be difficult for him to carry on at Swansea now so they're probably holding out to try and pay next to nothing

I think this is just Sky Sports trying to make a story out of the general quote Huw released yesterday. Even so, we should all throw our support behind Huw anyway!

So Chelsea had to buy AVB out of his contract and paid £10m+.

If BR is on £13k a week that's around £600k a year. Plus bonuses of £1m a year for survival that's £4.8m to buy him out of his 3y contract. They spoofed £60m on 3 donkeys and they're quibbling over this!!

I do kind of agree with Nifta though and it's probably just the media though.

When it comes to agreeing money, you can bet it never runs smooth, and as we are talking Millions, and Liverpool are strapped some what, after wasting so much money last season, it does not surprise me that they are stalling, but I'm sure Huw Jenkins has reflected on all this overnight, and is now in the right frame of mind to play hard ball, it might be that his contract has a 5 Million fee, but that would be the minimum starting point, so well done Huw, go for the jugular! And I want 6 points of the Liverpool tarts this season too....................<cheers>

Looks as though the Scousers can't rub two pennies together. I wonder how many millions he is going to be able to spend!

Full fare on contract compensation plus I would want a non-interference clause on our players for two years.

Compensation has been agreed for Brendan and three of the backroom staff and it sounds as if it's more than 5 million so well done Huw.

Not too fussed over Pascoe, but the analyst and one other may be tricky to replace (although I guess the new manager will have his own guys anyway)

Hope I'm wrong but this could be just the start ,although they know they've got to pay and quibbling about it may mean ther's no money in the bank for new players , sort that lot out rodgers

Not happy at losing three of our back room staff, Martinez fiasco all over again, makes me mad, when these two bit managers come in and rip the heart out of the club, on their way out, I hope the bugger, crashes and burns at Liverpool, we need to move quick to get a manger in, to stop any potential hemorrhage of our squad, we are in the premiership now, and the Vultures will be flying in fast and thick. I just can't wait to hear what this snivelling snake has to say in the press to our fans after doing this. I see that Dave Jones is 10/1 odds on being next manager, is that not insulting or what??.............<ok>

To be fair dragonphil, Brendan hired the analyst Chris Davies on day one at Swansea after working with at Reading also, so I can understand them moving on together and any manager worth his salt would have their own "man" or "Head of Performance and Opposition Analysis" :)

Nice to see so many jacks in agreement here, screw em I say! Let's not make it easy and applaud the way brenden is setting about the destruction of all his good work.

I can't help but think that it's also a tactic to make the club look poor without buck running things here, if someone else came in and carried on the good work it would prove bucks job here was easy and it was the current set up more than his own input! Makes you wonder doesn't it ?? Liverpool would then know they have a chancer on their hands !
