Gllingham Board Banner

Just to make Gillingham not606 members aware, you can have a board banner set up by the administrator to replace the current Gills board background of grass!

If you look at some of the premier league boards, you will get a general idea of what can be displayed.

So if you have any suggestions of a picture for the background please post it on here, then we can have a vote for the picture every one wants displayed.

One rule: It must be at least 1800 pixels wide, to work with.

I'm still thinking about this one, Just keep seeing the Wycombe background.

 

Whatever you choose guys, you will need to check the properties because it must be at least 1800 pixels wide.
Also it might be worth bearing in mind, that it appears that it is mainly the top third of the picture you tend to see.

So you might see an image of us picking up the play off trophy but it's not a lot of good if the main feature at the top is CocaCola

ManchesterGill - thanks for getting things started, I linked back to the site you took this from but I could not find the size of the image?

However, that's the general idea, so you would be looking at the Rainham End - GFC in the top part of the picture.

 

The width was just under 1800 pixels.

 

I'll quote the administrator...needs to be at least 1800 pixels wide.

Most sites appeared to have had their pics rejected first time round, however, if it's that close I can always ask if nothing else comes forward

I haven't asked but looking at all the messages to the admin guy (which you can't see), I doubt it.
If it didn't look right I suppose we could ask him to change it.

Yeah I go on the Norwich board a bit and just see they got that today, Good one they have.

 

I've just had another look at this image, 2,304 pixels wide, if I've looked at it right. (just under the 1800 in height but we don't need that)

 

brb, you would need to crop the top of the picture otherwise it would just be sky.

 

I was cutting that picture last night and the system went and crashed!

All I've got to do now is work out how to upload it from my desktop, file to big!

This might take some time which I ain't got today, so have to try later, if anyone else knows how to crop that picture and load on to here

Ok whats gone wrong?

somewhere in the upload it's shrinking the size.

 

Some image hosting sites shrink the picture so it becomes less than the 1MB threshold or whatever. I've sent brb this cropped version anyway so I think it should be alright.
