I think at long last, wether we go down or not, we have a decent manager....Shrewd, tactally sound and gets on with the job HIS OWN way.
Looks to play a good style of football, which is a breath of fresh air..
To steady the ship of managers coming and going, IMO they should give SOD a five year contract and look to build from here...

Steve'ie boy, get ya money out!

What if he does a del next season? Im happy with the current contract. As soon as the 12 months finish he gets another 12 months

He won't do a Del Shiny..don't forget, Del got us out of the mess just after Christmas and then put us back down there.......Clueless..you can also tell by the style of football, SOD is more up together..
SOD is shrewd and will be wanted by many clubs......we need to tie him down...

We were lucky right place and the right time.

I would say SOD would get a job at 90% of championship clubs.

I don't think our fans really appreciate what we have as manager.

SoD has said himself it feels like a good match, hope he stays with us for the long haul.

RR yes he's a good manager but he's only been here for 5 games! we cant judge him by that. Come the end of the season if we're still in the championship fair play, but if we're not so long as we went down fighting then he can hold his head up high

I think as soon as SOD became avaliable our board got on the phone,we had to act quickly.
Lucky enough he turned down Blackpool and Barnsley thank goodness.

Not so shiny, my understanding of a rolling contract is that unless either side give s notice, it lasts, in theory, for ever.... The 1 year starts from the time that the notice is given, hence "rolling"...

SoD is here until either side thinks its time for a change and if its us, we have to fork out 1 years money.

More or less what I said? First 12 months finish, Then another 12 months start and so on

    Correct.

Dave Jones had exactly the same and he went with a year's salary in his pocket when our new owners pulled the rug.

    NO!

The guy hasn't even had ten games with us. His performances need to be judged at the end of the season before we even dream about offering him a new deal. If he does well and keeps us in the Championship then give him a new deal.

McInnes had good runs of form with us too, and a lot of users on here loved him during that time. SOD needs to be given time to just do his job and to worry about contract extensions and other club business during his down-time.

No shiny and Ender, not the same at all - if no one gives notice, there is no end to the contract, so there is nothing to renew or extend as THE CONTRACT CONTINUES FOREVER...!!!
